Centre for Women’s Studies, The University of Tehran was established in 2001 in partnership with the “Centre for Women’s Participation” of the Office of the President. It is one of the major goals of CWS to support research and meet women’s needs at micro and macro level. The Centre, as a research and educational institution, has also been offering the programme “Women’s Studies” at postgraduate level, as well as research projects on women’s issues.
