PERSIAN SPEAKING GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT NETWORK - PGN

On July 19, 2004 a 3 day Conference inaugurating the Persian Speaking Gender & Development Network was launched by The University of Tehran’s Center for Women's Studies, supported by the World Bank. PGN aims to promote the dialogue on gender and development among policy makers, centers, practitioners, and development partners on gender issues in Persian-Speaking Societies in general, commenced with Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
