Student Exchange

International cooperation between institutions of higher education offers a valuable contribution to both education and research, to academic staff and researchers as well as students.

Linnaeus – Palme programme has granted financial support for a continuation of our cooperation. For academic year 2003/2004 there are possibilities for:

Student exchange during the autumn semester 2003 (or spring 2004) , two students to Galve.

 

Negar Mohammadi, a student of Communication at the University of Tehran was also granted the Gavle University scholarship. Negar studied the Combination of Career & Maternity.

 

Najmeh Mohammadkhani, Student of Sociology at the University of Tehran, was granted a three months scholarship to Gavle University of Sweden. During this period, Najmeh wrote a paper on Social Rights of Children in Sweden.

 

Arezoo Esmaeili, student of Population & Development of Shiraz University, participated in a one week workshop & study tour "Going Dutch" in the Netherlands in March 2004.The conference discussed the issue of "Reproductive Health & Rights of Youth" . Consequently, issues of abortion, HIV, prostitution, youth sex education and women's sexual rights were discussed within the context of each country's culture.
