The Center for Women Studies and Research, University of Tehran, in cooperation with the Center for Women and Family Affairs of the Presidential Office, held a conference on Tuesday, January 28, 2013, with the participation of experts, thinkers and researchers in the field of women studies. This conference was held under the title of "National Conference on Women's Strategic Thought in the Family" and in three levels of scientific lectures, specialized round table and presentation of selected research papers from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm in the Faculty of Law and Political Science Tehran was held.

After the presence of the guests at the conference, the conference began with the recitation of the Quran and then Dr. Farahmandpour, Secretary of the Conference and Head of the Center for Women Studies and Research, University of Tehran, presented a detailed report on the articles sent to the conference office and the acceptance process.

She stated that sociology, psychology, and educational sciences accounted for the largest number of articles, with economics, philosophy, and literature in second place. Also, the number of articles submitted by women was 160 and the number of articles submitted by men was 92. According to this report, the scientific level of the authors of the articles was mostly at the doctoral and master's level.
