The Center for Women's Studies and Research, University of Tehran, in collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of a Culture of Social Responsibility, organized: Online social workshop on teaching social harm management models among immigrant children
Workshop summary: Participants were social workers and directors of working and migrant children associations who work directly with injured and immigrant children and adolescents. In this two-day workshop, three models were taught to work with immigrant children in Iran. The training items are as follows: Injury-aware care model and migrant children Injury-sensitive school model and immigrant children Model TST - R (Trauma System Theory for Refugee) for immigrant children These three models focus on the mental health of immigrant children, the isolation of immigrant children and their families, the existence of care plans, sensitivity to reduce and eliminate harm in schools (associations), and the diagnosis of common injuries among immigrant children.
